About MQSN

The main establishment purposes of Multicultural Queensland Social Network is to serve diverse communities. We gather together those community leaders and individuals who have big influence in the Multicultural Communities and share experiences in the network. We jointly host and support Multicultural Events and serve our queensland communities.

Our mission

To provide a platform for members to share information that they possess to assist the others in their activities;
To support members in their functions by promoting them and contributing resources of mutual benefit to members;
To assist members and not compete but instead help in their activities;
To promote multiculturalism through education, discussion and other means;
To encourage members to provide issues affecting the culturally diverse communities to raise awareness among the wider groups;
To encourage members to participate in activities with the wider community.

Our story

The Multicultural Social Network establishment is the initiative of Carl. Wu, Honorary and Founding President of the Brisbane North Chinese Association Inc. He called an initial meeting on 19th of June, 2019, Riverside Hotel Southbank)

There were 15 community leaders who attended. They were: Lewis Lee OAM, Carl Wu, Ram Mohan, Surendra Prasad OAM, Honey Binny, Michelle Allsop, Elijah Boul OAM, Aunty Peggy Tidyman, Prakruthi Mysore Gururaj, Marelise Matthysen, Taka Uematsu, Naomichi Hirano, Ben Hu, Louise Moeller, and Peter Low OAM.
